Not already a barre convert? Still love a good sweaty gym sesh, weight training or high intensity training like HIIT or boxing? Well this is for you! With the smaller studio space, the Instructors tend to hone in on you when you slack off and can watch you through all mirrors to make sure you don’t do half-arsed plié’s just because your legs are about to drop off. In these classes, if you make your goals known, the instructors are likely to focus on them and you.
Have you ever felt sluggish, tired, fatigued and lacked that energy to carry on daily? Have you felt like napping every day and wake up feeling worse? A key element which may be missing is exercise. It's true that we exercise to boost happiness. For me, some days I dread doing a workout. But the habit of exercising sees me drag my butt off the couch, only to have an amazing class and leaving me in a state of happiness and euphoria.
Our workouts are designed around muscle endurance, and each exercise is isometrically held for short period of time, with the aid of lightweights, Pilates balls and therabands to provide that extra resistance. Exercises are designed to promote muscle endurance by giving you high repetitions of any given exercise and giving you short breaks. This type of exercise promotes strength not only of the muscles but for the joints.
