Weekly Membership
A Weekly Membership is an ongoing weekly membership with no minimum term.
It continues until you or we cancel it in accordance with your Membership Agreement and these Terms.
Weekly Subscription Membership with Initial Fixed Term
This is an ongoing weekly membership with an initial fixed period.
The current initial fixed period is 13 weeks.

Fixed-Term Membership
A Fixed-Term Membership runs for a set period.
It ends automatically at the end of that period and does not roll over.
Club Pass
A Club Pass is a fixed-term membership or pass paid upfront.
It gives you access to the services and period stated at purchase.
7. Class passes and casual classes
A Class Pass gives you a set number of classes within the validity period stated at purchase.
A casual class is a single class purchased for one visit.
Class passes and casual classes are personal to you. They cannot be shared, sold, transferred or gifted unless we agree in writing or the law requires it.
8. Cooling-off period
New Membership Agreements have a 7-day cooling-off period.
The cooling-off period starts the day after you accept the Membership Agreement online or otherwise sign it.
To cancel during the cooling-off period, please email hello@aleenta.club or submit the Termination Form.
If you cancel during the cooling-off period, we will refund amounts you have paid within 14 days, less:
- the value of any services already supplied; and
- any reasonable administration or joining fee disclosed before you joined.
9. Bookings
All class bookings must be made through the Aleenta app, website or booking system.
Class places are limited and are allocated on a first-booked basis.
Please check the current timetable before attending, especially for early morning, evening, public holiday or special-event classes.
We may change class times, teachers, formats, rooms, locations or timetables when reasonably necessary. We will do our best to let you know about material changes.
10. Waitlists
If a class is full, you may join the waitlist.
Please only join the waitlist if you are genuinely able to attend.
If a place becomes available, you will be automatically added to the class and notified by text, email or app notification.
The waitlist closes 60 minutes before class.
11. Class cancellation policy
Life happens. If you can no longer attend, please cancel early so someone else has the chance to move.
You must cancel at least 4 hours before class to avoid a late cancellation.
Cancellations must be made through the Aleenta app, website or booking system.
We cannot guarantee that cancellations by phone, text, email, social media or in person will be processed in time.
12. Late cancellations and no-shows
A late cancellation happens when you cancel inside the 4-hour cancellation window.
A no-show happens when you book a class but do not attend.
Current policy:
- Unlimited members receive 2 free late cancellations and 2 free no-shows per calendar month.
- 1, 2 and 3-class-per-week members receive 1 free late cancellation and 1 free no-show per calendar month.
- After the monthly allowance, Unlimited members may be charged a $5 late-cancellation fee or $5 no-show fee.
- For class pass holders and limited weekly memberships, the relevant class credit may be forfeited.
- Late cancellations and no-shows do not roll over.
13. Arriving late
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before class starts.
This gives you time to settle in, set up your space and let your teacher know about anything they should be aware of.
For safety reasons and to minimise disruption for the class, late entry is not permitted after class has started.
If you arrive late, you may be marked as a no-show.
14. Membership changes
You may request an upgrade or downgrade using the Membership Change Form.
Please give at least 7 days’ notice.
Changes take effect from your next billing date unless we agree otherwise.
One membership change is free in each 3-month period. Additional changes may incur a reasonable administration fee if disclosed before the change is made.
15. Freezes
You may request a membership freeze:
- in weekly blocks;
- for a minimum of 1 week;
- for a maximum of 6 weeks at a time;
- by submitting the Freeze Form at least 72 hours before your next billing date.
There is currently no standard freeze fee.
Back-to-back rolling freezes are not permitted unless we agree.
If you freeze during an initial fixed period or fixed term, the membership period will be extended by the length of the freeze.
16. Medical deferrals
If you are temporarily unable to use Aleenta services because of physical incapacity, you may request a medical deferral.
We may ask you for a medical certificate so we can assess the request fairly.
Medical deferrals may be granted for up to 3 months in any 12-month period unless we agree to a longer period.
17. Cancelling your membership
We know circumstances change. To make sure your cancellation is recorded correctly, you must cancel using the Termination Form on the footer of the Aleenta website.
Verbal cancellation or email requests cannot be processed.
Weekly Membership
You may cancel a Weekly Membership at any time by giving written notice through the Termination Form found in the footer of the Aleenta website.
Your membership will end at the start of the first weekly supply period that begins 7 days or more after we receive your notice.
No cancellation fee applies.
You are not entitled to a refund for the remainder of the current weekly supply period, or for any weekly supply period that starts less than 7 days after your notice, unless required by law.
If you have paid in advance for a future supply period after your membership ends, we will refund that amount.
Subscription Membership
During the initial 13-week fixed period, you may cancel:
- during the cooling-off period;
- because of permanent sickness or physical incapacity;
- because of our material breach if not remedied within a reasonable time;
- by paying the early-exit fee stated in your Membership Agreement; or
- where you otherwise have a legal right to cancel.
After the initial fixed period ends, you may cancel on 7 days’ written notice with no early-exit fee.
Fixed-Term Membership or Club Pass
A Fixed-Term Membership or Club Pass ends automatically at the end of its term.
If you cancel early, your refund or release from further payment will be calculated in accordance with your Membership Agreement.
18. Direct debit and payment authority
Recurring payments are processed by our payment provider.
Current provider: Stripe.
Please keep your payment details up to date.
When your membership ends, we will stop future payments. You should also cancel any direct debit or recurring card authority with your bank or card provider.
19. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the payment up to three times.
If payment remains unpaid, we may:
- suspend your membership;
- cancel upcoming bookings;
- restrict further bookings;
- recover amounts properly owed; or
- terminate your membership after giving reasonable notice, unless immediate action is reasonably required.
You are responsible for any fees your bank or card provider charges you for failed payments.
20. Fee changes
We will not increase your membership fees during an initial fixed period or fixed-term membership.
For ongoing memberships, we may increase fees by giving at least 60 days’ written notice. We may give this notice by email, in-app notification or another written method we reasonably choose.
If a fee increase materially disadvantages you, you may cancel before the increase takes effect without an early-exit fee.
21. Health and safety
Your safety matters to us.
Exercise involves physical effort and some risk. Before attending, you must complete our Client Health & Safety Acknowledgement and any required pre-exercise questionnaire.
Please tell us and your teacher if you have any injury, illness, pregnancy, pain, dizziness, medical condition, medication, recent surgery, or anything else that may affect your ability to exercise safely.
We may require medical clearance before allowing you to participate.
During class, please listen to your body. If you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, faintness, discomfort or concern, stop exercising and tell your teacher immediately.
22. Pre-natal and post-natal clients
We welcome pre-natal and post-natal clients and want to support you to move safely.
If you are pregnant or returning after birth, you must complete the relevant Aleenta Pregnancy intake form before attending.
Please tell your teacher before each class how many weeks pregnant you are or how recently you gave birth.
Medical clearance may be required for high-risk pregnancies or return to exercise after birth.
23. Studio rules
Aleenta is an inclusive, respectful and safe space. Everyone who attends our studios should feel welcome, supported and free from discrimination, harassment, intimidation or unsafe behaviour.

We may refuse entry, ask you to leave, suspend access or cancel your membership if you do not follow these rules, particularly where behaviour affects the safety, comfort or wellbeing of others.
24. Age policy
Aleenta classes are designed for adults. Clients under 18 require parent or guardian consent.
Current policy:
- 16–17 years: a parent or guardian must accept the agreement and may be required to remain on the premises.
- Under 16: a parent or guardian must attend class with the child unless Aleenta agrees otherwise.
- Children who are not booked into a class cannot wait inside the studio room.
For South Australian clients under 18, Aleenta will not ask the child, or a parent or guardian on the child’s behalf, to sign the South Australian recreational services exclusion notice.
25. Personal belongings
Please bring only what you need.
Lockers or storage areas may be available, but you use them at your own risk.
Except where required by law, Aleenta is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings.
26. Photos, video and marketing

You must not film or photograph other clients, staff or teachers without their consent.

Promotions, discounts, referral offers and promotional codes are subject to the terms stated at the time of the offer.
Unless stated otherwise, offers:

- cannot be exchanged for cash;
- cannot be combined with other offers;

If an intro offer is used by someone who is not a new client, or under a false name, email or identity, we may cancel the offer and refuse studio access.
28. Gift cards
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
Gift cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen unless required by law.
Gift cards will comply with applicable Australian Consumer Law requirements.
29. Private classes, workshops and events

30. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
If the Australian Consumer Law gives you a right to a refund, replacement, repeat service, cancellation or other remedy, these Terms do not limit that right.
“No refund” wording does not apply where the Australian Consumer Law requires a refund or other remedy.
31. Recreational services warning
Aleenta classes involve physical movement and exercise. Like all physical activity, participating in our classes carries some risk of injury.
Before you purchase a membership, pass or class, or before you attend your first class, we may ask you to read and accept the recreational services warning or exclusion notice that applies in your state.
This notice explains how certain rights may be limited to the extent allowed by law. It does not remove any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
For South Australian clients, the South Australian recreational services notice may apply.
For Victorian clients, the Victorian recreational services warning may apply.
The relevant notice will be shown separately during online signup or before your first class, and will form part of your agreement with Aleenta.
For South Australian clients under 18, Aleenta will not ask the child, or a parent or guardian on the child’s behalf, to sign the South Australian recreational services exclusion notice.
32. When we may suspend or cancel access
We may suspend or cancel your access if you:
- fail to pay fees when due;
- seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms;
- act in an unsafe, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate way;
- harass staff, teachers or other clients;
- damage property or equipment;
- share your membership or pass;
- misuse promotions or intro offers;
- provide false information;
- breach our health and safety requirements; or
- use, possess, supply or distribute illicit drugs or banned substances.
Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the issue.
We may act immediately where there is a serious safety, behavioural, legal or operational concern.
33. Privacy
We collect personal information to manage bookings, memberships, payments, health and safety, communications, complaints and legal compliance.
Health information is sensitive information and will be handled carefully.
We may share information with booking systems, payment processors, professional advisers, emergency services, regulators or other parties where reasonably necessary or required by law.
34. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
For material changes, we will give reasonable written notice where practical.
Changes will not retrospectively reduce your rights during a fixed term or initial fixed period.
If a change materially disadvantages you, you may cancel without an early-exit fee before the change takes effect.
35. Governing law
For services supplied in South Australia, South Australian law applies.
For services supplied in Victoria, Victorian law applies.
The Australian Consumer Law applies nationally.

16. Changes to the promotion
We will run the promotion as described in these terms.
We may change, suspend or end the promotion only if:
(a) we are required to do so by law; or
(b) something outside our reasonable control makes the promotion unworkable.
Examples include extended studio closures, serious technical issues, natural disasters, government directions or other major events outside our control.
If we need to make a material change, we will let participants know by email and/or in-studio communication.
Where possible, we will honour entries that were already validly received before the change.
