Experiencing ‘Double the Zen’ in McLaren Vale - Aleenta BARRE

The weather today was quite literally perfect. Not a breath of wind. And a gorgeous 21 degrees at 9am as we walked out onto the rolling green lawn at the home of Chalk Hill wines & Never Never Distillery in McLaren Vale, South Australia.

As our fifty Double Zen guests arrived they enjoyed a little goodie bag of water, my absolute fave Fibre One Salted Caramel & Almond Popcorn Bar (yes, they are really as good as they sound and only 90 cals 👏👋), a Free Pass for a friend to Aleenta and a bag of crystals to set their intention for the day.

As I walked to the front of our Group and greeted everyone to kick off the event, I felt a surge of gratitude for our community. I explained that when Claire (my Business Partner) and I were in the early stages of developing our business and naming the business, we just kept coming back to the name Aleenta, which means ‘to live a rewarding life’.

This morning outside on the grass amongst the vines, with beautiful weather, moving our bodies, I felt like we nailed it.

THIS - is living a rewarding life. Writing about it now, just does not do it justice.

Aleenta Instructors, Maddy Grey, assisted by Annie Johns, led us in a replenishing 60min yoga flow class. We then retreated to the side lawn for post-class festivities and to enjoy Pinsas and a cheeky wine or two. Laughter flowed, new friends were made and stories shared.

A big thank-you to all who attended and made the day so rewarding. And a big congrats to the winners on the day – Sharon Thompson and Antonia Malavos who won gorgeous endota products as door prizes. And Tenika Delbecq who won the Aleenta SA Be-You-Tiful Challenge and the ‘Recharge’ Package of a night’s accommodation, spa treatment and lots of other goodies at the gorgeous new EOS Skycity. All three are long-time Aleenta Members and well-deserving winners.

Stay Tuned for Updates on our next Retreats which we will be released soon!
