Congrats! We are super excited to have you join us at the barre and want to share some tips and FAQ with you before you join us in Studio.

1. When should I arrive?
Early bird catches the worm!
Please ensure you arrive 10-15minutes before your first class so that you have time to get to know the Studio, where to put your bits and pieces and have a chat with the Barre Tender or Community Manager before your class.

2. What do I wear?
Active-wear is perfect for class
We often get asked what you should wear to class. It's simply leggings and a tee. We recommend leggings below the knee as we use resistance bands and it can 'pinch' the skin and when lifting your leg in the air it is more comfortable for everyone! Blokes we encourage long shorts, leggings or tracksuit pants.

Grippy Socks for Class

Grippy socks or bare feet are absolutely acceptable for all classes except mat Pilates. For mat Pilates you MUST wear Grippy Socks. You can bring your own or purchase in-Studio.

3. Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself, a water bottle and sweat towel. We supply everything else :)

4. I am not 100% sure where the Studio is?
Jump back to aleentabarre.com, navigate to book/buyclasses in the Menu and select your State. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will be able to click on your Studio and get further location details. Or simply call us on 1800 672 606 if you need any further information!

 


5. What class should I start with?
It is completely up to you and what you want to achieve. Having said that we always recommend starting with a Barre Class as that is what we are known for 😉. Our Barre Blend Class is always a good place to start. It incorporates yoga flows with traditional Barre moves at a slower, controlled pace. If at any point you are feeling challenged, simply take a break, take a sip of water and jump back in where you are ready. Head here to learn more about our Class Styles here
