Twin Peaks At Ukaria.

An easy 40 minute drive from the CBD, Twin Peaks is perched atop the scenic Mount Barker Summit.
 
With a breathtaking panorama of the Adelaide Hills, Twin Peaks has 6 beautiful bedrooms in the Main House and a further 4 bedrooms in the adjoining cottage. Each room can be transformed into twin or single rooms.

Ukaria Cultural Centre is a place of inspiration and connection encouraging creativity and musical excellence combined with sustainable practices. A hall with architecturally-designed acoustics sets the scene for nightly meditation accompanied by live piano music.

Deliciousness On A Plate.

A divine plant-based menu will nourish you with fresh seasonal ingredients and produce sourced from local farmers and markets, your menu includes wholesome home-cooked style meals with tasty, nutritious ingredients.

Plenty of goodness on your plate with a cheeky wine and some treats along the way!

What To Expect

RETREAT ITINERARY

FRIDAY


FRIDAY AFTERNOON:Arrive at Ukaria and take an (optional) tour of the Jurlique farm or a relaxating treatment to set the mood for 3-days of bliss. Or simply soak in the beauty of nature.Check-in at 3pm, now's the time to settle in. Breathe. Relax and Disconnect.
 

FRIDAY EVENING: A late afternoon yoga flow with Bridget slides into an organic wine/gin and delish menu to kick off the weekend vibes. Post dinner we'll retreat to the Rehearsal Hall for a guided meditation with live piano music and mini-head massages.

SATURDAY


SAT MORNING:Rise to a healthy breakfast followed by a Pilates class designed to get your body warm and ready to enjoy the day. After class immerse yourself in nature with a walk to Mt Barker Summit.
 

SAT AFTERNOON:Re-fuel and nourish your body with lunch at 1pm after an active morning. Enjoy some downtime this afternoon with a massage, optional dance cardio class for some beats and laughs or time for yourself.

SAT EVENING:Enjoy dinner, learn all about plant-based food with a delightful and interactive dining workshop with Plant B Life.

SUNDAY


SUNDAY MORNING:Awaken with the sun for an early morning outdoor yoga class before nourishing your body with a refreshing breakfast. We'll then enjoy some time together and mid-morning refreshments before we say our good-byes late morning. Check-outis 11.30am.
 

SUNDAY AFTERNOON:We recommend experiencing all the Adelaide Hills has to offer whether it's strawberry picking, a stroll in Hahndorf or wine-tasting at the many vineyards.

ALICIA HARVIE

Alicia is your Retreat Guide and super experienced in ensuring your Retreat is all you want. Whether you're a virgin retreater or experienced and avid fitness fanatic, Alicia will ensure we cater to your needs.

A contemporary dancer and performance maker, Alicia is also the Creator of the Aleenta Instructor Training School with her husband Dan. With more than 15 years experience as an Instructor, multiple Movement and fitness Degrees, she is one of the most qualified Instructors in the country. Alicia is committed to ensuring your Retreat is simply the best experience ever!

 

BRIDGET ISMAY

Bridget is a certified 200h yoga teacher who fell in love with the practice for the way it makes her feel. Bridget is passionate about creating a space where you're empowered to explore your own yoga practice in a fun and enjoyable way. Her classes will encourage you to move in a way that feels good for you.

Aside from yoga, Bridget enjoys reading, going on adventures and spending time outdoors. She grew up in a small town in Victoria and later moved to South Australia to study. She now calls Adelaide home.

CARLEY BEZZINA

When not running around after her tween daughters and their dance comps, you can find Carley at the Studio.

Carley's interest in fitness developed from a desire to better understand her own body. Teaching Pilates was a natural progression and she loves nothing more than ensuring you feel every muscle.

Carley is also an experienced caterer previously running her own catering business. Carley has created a delicious plant-based menu focussing on fresh and seasonal produce.

Twin Share:Is the price per person for a shared room. Nominate a friend/partner to share with. King Beds will be separated into King Singles if required.  

Single Share: is the per person price for a single room.

Things To Know Before You Go.

Who is this retreat for?

This Retreat is for anyone wanting to disconnect. We welcome everyone from all walks of life - regardless of your age and fitness. Minimum age is 16 years. Singles and couples welcome!

Can I come solo?

Absolutely! We love a bit of 'me' time. If you want a room by yourself, then please choose single share. If you're up for some fun and adventure and happy to share a room with someone else, then please choose twin share.

Can I bring my partner?

YES! We would love you to. Please choose a twin-share room and book for 2 people and advise of the bedding arrangements prior.  

Are all activities compulsory?

No. You can do as much or as little as you want. It's your Retreat so Retreat as you want :) Feel like some time for you - celebrate it. Want to be a part of everything, we can't wait to share with you!

How do I get there?

You will need to arrange your own transport to and from the venue. You can remain at the venue for the weekend or venture out in your free time to explore the hills. It's your weekend to do as you wish.

What do I need to bring?

A great attitude and sense of fun! PLUS your own yoga mat and grippy socks. If you don't have your own mat just let us know and we can supply.
